Today’s Motor Vehicles – “Roadblocks to Automotive Innovation” – Sep/Oct 2015
Jim English, President of Tool-X, is featured in an article about the difficulties for small companies to find a way in to the big auto companies, even with a product as beneficial as Tool-X. It’s not just “not invented here”, it’s so much more. There are difficulties in finding the right people, in getting products tested, qualified, or validated, in becoming a vendor, providing the financial guarantees, fitting into their supply chain, just to name a few.

Cutting Tool Engineering – “Don’t Hold the Onions” – Oct 2013
Alan Richter, the editor of Cutting Tool Engineering, has written a nice article about Tool-X in the October 2013 issue’s Looking Ahead section.

It talks about the graphene (nano-onion) technology that underlies Tool-X, and the benefits it brings to machine tool operators.
The article also cites Ron Wellington, President of Bernal Products Inc., of Romeo Michigan, and their experience with Tool-X: “the tool life tripled when Tool-X was added to their semi-synthetic cutting fluid and permitted the machine to be operated unattended without breaking a tool.”
